This last Sunday was Emma's big day! She had worked hard to be ready, and we are very proud of her! Doesn't she look pretty and all grown-up in her baptism dress?

We had the baptismal service at 12.30--after church. Much of the ward was able to be there, as well as our neighbors, the Hillers, and Alex and Kathrin Gehrig, our friends from the Stuttgart Ward, Sigrid and Uwe Löhrmann, and Chuck's coworker, Jens. The Primary kids sang "If the Savior Stood Beside Me", and the talks were given by Stephanie Cyron and Mom. Dad got to do the Bishopric Welcome himself! One of the highlights was a "Watch Emma Grow Up" slide show we played for the "time filler" while Emma and Dad were getting changed. It was really fun for me to sort through all our pictures last week--to see how Emma has changed, how she hasn't, and all the fun things we've done over the years.

Here are just a few favorites: Busy Bee, Triple Horsey-Back Ride, Dutch Fashion Statement, A Baby in Her Tummy, Emma"roni", "Holding" Tinkerbell, and With a"Worried" Kira

It was a wonderful day for all of us. We love you, Emma!
